COVID-19

What is it?

COVID-19 is a new virus that can make you sick – much like the common cold. It is passed from person to person by touch and through the air when people who are infected cough or sneeze. Someone who is infected can also leave germs on doorknobs or other surfaces that they touch, which can then spread to other people if they touch those surfaces too. Covid-19 isn't anything to be afraid of but there are steps we can follow to keep ourselves and those around us as healthy as possible!

How do we prevent it?

  1. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (the time it takes to sing the alphabet song) before meals and after you go to the bathroom!

  2. If you need to sneeze or cough, sneeze into a tissue or into your inner elbow.

  3. Try not to touch your face - mouth, eyes, or nose with unclean hands.

  4. Make sure to eat healthy, get plenty of sleep, and exercise!
