Buddy Program

The Buddy Program pairs international students at Hiroshima Shudo University with Japanese student partners to help them have a fulfilling study-abroad experience. Buddy students  provide support with essential tasks immediately after arrival, such as opening a bank account, setting up a mobile phone, and completing residency registration. They also offer guidance and advice as experienced peers to help students navigate university life and daily routines.

Buddy students serve as reliable friends and partners, helping international students adjust smoothly while enjoying cultural exchange and developing global awareness. This program ensures that newcomers have someone they can turn to right from the start, making their transition to life in Japan safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
