Work On It Wednesday-Film yourself working on a new skill! Turns, Leaps, Jumps, Acro, and Hip Hop Tricks will all work!
Tik Tok Thursday-Make a dance Tik Tok and send it in!
Flexible Friday-Take a yoga class online (try Sarahbeth Yoga on Youtube) or take a picture of yourself doing a flexibility skill!

April 6th-April 10th

Make It Up Monday-Choreograph 4-8 eight counts of a dance to clean music.
Turn Tuesday-Spend at least 15 minutes woking on your turns (pirouettes, chaines, etc)
Workout Wednesday-Spend 15 minutes working out! Go for a jog, find a workout online, lift weights at home, etc.
Thankful Thursday-Tell us about something or someone you are thankful for!
Future Friday-Write down one dance goal you want to achieve over quarantine and start working towards it!

Mater this Monday-Take a "before" picture of your splits on Monday. Stretch all week and take an "after" picture Friday. Let's see how much you improve!
Team Tuesday-Watch a competition routine from a Dance Team you admire. You can find lots on Instagram or Youtube by searching the team name!
Wacky Wednesday-Take a dance class online wearing a funny outfit! You can take our classes or one from another studio.
Teach It Thursday-Teach a parent or sibling a skill you have learned in class this year or teach them 2 eight counts of choreography!
Fearless Friday-Find a video of a cool trick or lift we should try next year in class! Send us the video link so we can save it for next year!

Multitasking Monday-Sing the ABC's in a headstand or handstand (can use the wall if needed)
Time Out Tuesday-Take an online yoga class. Go to google classroom for the links!
Watch Wednesday-Film yourself doing a skill or trick. Watch it back and see if you can find a way to improve. Send in before and after videos so we can see the improvement!
Throw it Thursday-Find a small object you can toss or throw. Your goal is to throw the object as high as possible, then complete as many pirouettes as possible before catching the object. Video evidence required-bonus if you make it a competition with a family member
Flex Friday-Send a picture after a workout! Let us know what you completed!

Memory Monday-Write down 5 vocabulary words you learned in dance this year! Demo or write what they mean.
Tendu Tuesday-Create a tendu combination and perform it en croix on both sides. You can create it to music or counts!
Work it Wednesday-Learn an Alma Dance Combo or any combo from an online studio or Youtube.
Thoughtful Thursday-Reflect over the time away from school and tell us something you've learned about yourself.
Feel Good Friday-Tell us one thing you are proud of yourself for accomplishing this week!

May 4-May 8
Students must complete 3 of the 5 tasks for the week to receive participation credit. More information is in Google Classroom. This will be the last week of new activities! After this week you can use the remaining time to catch up on other classes or if you want new activities to complete you can email and I can help you find more activities to do! We encourage you to keep working out and stretching over the summer!
Motivational Monday- Find a motivational quote that speaks to you and memorize it!
Tippy Toe Tuesday- Perform 4 eight counts of relevés (calf raises) in parallel second position, turned out second, parallel first and turned out first, then balance on relevé for as long as you can!
Woah Wednesday- Choreograph 4-8 eight counts of hip hop choreography and end your combo with the woah
Throwback Thursday- Tell us your favorite memory from dance class! It can be from this year or any years prior if you've been in the program for longer!
Feel Good Friday- Complete something dance related that makes you feel good! You can complete a calming yoga video, stretch for 20 min, learn a dance combo, workout, etc..
