Upload all work into your google classroom. Here's how:
Find the assignment, go to top right corner and add/create. If you have created the doc within the assignment, you should see it and can turn it in. If you need to add a document from your drive, click add-from drive-and dbl click. You will need to click "turn in," as well.
If you are turning in pics of an assignment, please create a document and insert the images into the document. Then either add it and turn it in, or turn it in if you created it in the assignment.
A quick note for all AMS Career Development students. Unfortunately, the job shadowing experience planned for this semester has been cancelled. However, we will be incorporating some of the "experience" into the assignments.
Week 1 asked you to interview an adult. Make this someone in a career field you are interested in. (Please use phone, email, other media tech) Week 3 and 4 will give you the opportunity to put together a google slide presentation of your dream job. We hope these assignments will be a fun substitute for the job shadowing experience.

Complete pocket resume’ with your personal information. (You will need to print it out to complete it.) If you can’t print, create a document that folds down like this one and has all your info on it-follow the pattern they have.
Please go to your teacher's Google Classroom for assignment and specifics.
Create your personal resume’; use this template as a guide, but use a separate document- (You can insert a page break and add on to the bottom of the sample document.) If no computer, write it on paper using the proper format.
***Keep in mind~ Write your resume as if you are applying for a job this summer. For most of you, it would be your first job. Your resume may look scarce when it comes to experience, but that's ok. Employers know when it is your first job, you won't have a lot of actual job experience. However, be sure to shine where you can. In other words, mention any experience like: athletic or competitive event, and tie it to skills like teamwork and collaboration. Mention volunteer work, and that kind of thing.
Please go to your teacher's Google Classroom for assignment and specifics.
