Response - Includes muck and gut, debris removal, mold sanitation, etc. Now that we are over a year on from the disaster this type of work will be very seldom, but the possibility is still there we could work on some of these projects.
Recovery - We have now fully incorporated home rebuilding work to our scope. Installing drywall, insulation, mudding and taping, painting, flooring, interior doors and exterior doors, lighting fixtures, finishing work, plumbing and more! This is detailed work, but the aim is to provide homeowners with a suitable and dignified place to live.
Each day depends on the scope of work the community you are working in requires. Don’t worry if you have never done this before—we will teach you everything you need to know when you get here. The work day is typically from 8:00 AM - 5PM. However, these hours can change depending on the needs of the program. After you return home from the work site, you will have a chance to unwind, relax and reflect on your day as a part of our nightly team meetings.
