In 5^th of May, 2019 in Egypt, Sam consumed a very large amount of electricity in his house. It has gone to a very high number, which was because he had been using electricity but he did not need it. He kept consuming all the electricity the country has given to him. After one week Sam was left with no electricity in the quarantine time.

Sam lost all the electricity credit and consumed a large amount of electric energy to generate heat, light and motion. Some of these consuming electric devices are fans, air conditioners and washing machines.

When Sam knew how big his problem was, he started a campaign to reduce the electricity consumption in his house and the neighborhood. When a neighbor asked him how he will do this he replied, ‘People could close the lights and turn of the electronic devises when they don’t use them to reduce the electricity consumption. Also they could use solar and wind energy to produce electricity. We need to do something about this dangerous problem. Not just for us but for the next generation’. He says.

Soon after a few weeks of Sam’s campaign, the electricity consumption had been reduced in the neighborhood. Then Sam decided to reduce electricity, not only in his neighborhood, but also in his country. Now he is preparing a PowerPoint presentation to share his ideas with the government.
