Describe how your new student is exceptionally qualified, in terms of academic preparation and potential, to receive a Schaible fellowship.
What other attributes does the student have, besides academic preparation and potential, that makes them an exceptional candidate for this fellowship?
What research project or program will the student conduct during their PhD degree?
Describe the importance of the student to your research program, group, and the GI as a whole.
Will this student help increase overall enrollment in the PhD program in your group?
How will you support the student through the remainder of their PhD program, after the 2 years support from the Schaible award expires?
Nomination letters should be directly emailed by the faculty sponsor to Jessica Larsen - jflarsen@alaska.edu.
