IARC continues an active series of formal and informal seminars given by UAF-based scientists and visiting scholars. Visit the IARC events page to see all upcoming events.
Faculty seminars and lectures: If you plan to host a seminar or lecture for yourself or a visiting researcher, check out the IARC communications guide to see whether the topic may fit into an existing webinar series. Make sure to plan ahead, webinar slots are scheduled well in advance. There are also instructions for hosting a stand-alone seminar.
Salon series: Each semester a different IARC graduate student and/or postdoc coordinates the IARC Salon, a monthly series of talks and perspectives. IARC faculty and postdocs, are encouraged to attend and present seminars in order to meet fellow scientists and become familiar with their research.
IARC brunch: Take a break and catch up with colleagues in a friendly, relaxed setting. IARC brunch is on the first Wednesday of every month at 10 am, alternating between online and in the SNAP Lobby.
