IARC Branding
"Understanding the Arctic to make a difference."

IARC colors
Use this set of colors when designing communication products. Tinting (adding white to lighten the color) is OK.
Font suggestions
IARC uses UAF's typography which includes five typefaces: Factoria, Merriweather, Barlow, Dharma Gothic E and Turbinado.
Text and text backgrounds should have sufficient contrast so that the text remains easy to read. This applies to both print and web.
How much contrast is enough? Test color combinations with a web tool called WhoCanUse, which brings attention and understanding to how color contrast can affect people with visual impairments. Enter a background color and a text color, and see how your combination fares.

For designers: How to import colors into Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator
You can import an .ase file into Illustrator and InDesign, so all colors are readily available each time a new document is created:
In Illustrator or InDesign, with no documents open, open the Swatches panel and click menu at upper right of panel. Choose “Load Swatches …” and navigate to the .ase file.
