A huge thank you to our guest instructor (Lindsey Parkinson), guest scientists (Justin Olnes, Matt Cameron, Jamie Hollingsworth and Elena Sparrow) and guest artist (Ashley Bergeron). You were all awesome!
It was a tad damp.... but that didn't stop anyone!
We counted insects in the traps. The results were not what we expected, and left us with more questions than answers. Must be real science!
We also dissected the scat we collected on our hike and identified who made it (making sure to wear gloves and not touch anything). Trying to identify what they ate was more challenging!
In the afternoon we had our own version of the Amazing Race, designed by Theresa. We had to use the skills we learned all week to do well!
We ended the day at one of our favorite places in town: Hot Licks Ice Cream! It was the only time during the entire camp that it rained - and nobody cared...
