Hi there!

This postcard was sent to you by a member of L.I.O.N (the Learning Inside Out Network). We're a volunteer-based organization that works to foster literacy both inside and outside of the Alaska prison system, connecting incarcerated readers and writers with the outside. Some of us are educators, some have done time inside of prisons or jails... some of us just want to spread our love for creating and learning.

Because there aren't many creative outlets and opportunities for incarcerated writers, we'd like to help you out by sparking some creativity. On this postcard, you'll find an image and a writing prompt that will hopefully help to get those creative juices flowing. You have a voice, and you have a story.
