Akij Essentials Limited (AEL) primarily being the food commodity business unit of Akij Resources ensures to bring out the finest products and uses the state-of-the-art machinery for manufacturing. The brand name ‘Essential’ has been exhibited by keeping the Bengali tradition and culture as the center of attention. Essential plays a role of being welcoming, full of life, strongly bonded with the values and culture of the origin.

‘Essential’ has started its journey on November 2020. As the name of the brand suggests, Essential aims to provide all the everyday needs (must have commodities) of the peoples of Bangladesh. AEL manufactures a wide range of daily essential food products i.e. various categories of rice, flour, salt, sugar, lentils, spices and edible oils.

AEL has also invested in the fertilizer trading of the country where it has been supplying the product to the government since 2021 with great reputation. This helps the farmers of the country to get their necessary supplies at a reasonable price to grow the staples.

Following the footprint of the founding father and focusing on providing the basic human needs, AEL has been involved in the trading of different food commodity in Bangladesh i.e. wheat, peas, lentils and other grains.
