What is IR?
IR stands for International Relations. AIESEC is a global organization present in over 100 countries and territories, and IR refers to our key partnerships with certain host entities (countries) where we frequently send EPs. π
IR is about building strong, reliable cooperation with these entitiesβaligning expectations, improving communication, and creating trust. This helps us ensure smoother processes and better experiences for our EPs. π€Β
Why do we have IR?
β Better Attraction β Knowing how to promote our IR partners, having access to their materials, and understanding their projects and benefits makes it easier to attract and convert potential EPs.
β Higher Acceptance Rate (apl2acc%) β Familiarity with their selection process, requirements, and even the possibility of CV feedback increases the chances of our EPs being accepted. Some IRs also prioritize our applicants.
β Backup Options β In case of rejection, itβs easier to redirect the EP to another opportunity within the same IR partner.
β Faster Process Time β Better communication and trust lead to quicker responses and smoother coordination.
β More Quality Experiences β Since we know how these entities and LCs work, we can confidently offer opportunities with a higher standard of experience.
Who is our IR?
IR partners may change from one MC term to another, but currently, for this MC term, we are collaborating with the following countries:
You can view the resultsβincluding number of applications, acceptances, and APDs with our IR partnersβon the Performance Dashboard tab in the IR Hub.
How to do IR call?
π Before the Call
Research your partnerβs open opportunities and cooperation potential by assessing how strong the ICX (iGT/iGV) is in that entity and reviewing historical E2E data (on EXPA).
Prepare for persona alignment: check if the oGT side can provide profiles matching your opportunities and vice versa (consider nationality, background, skills, duration).
Prepare for timeline alignment: identify peak periods for #APD and #RE, and when their EPs usually go for exchangeβensure these align with your available slots.
Make notes to easily respond to any ICX questions.
π During the Call
Start with a quick check-in to set a positive tone.
ICX presents current and planned opportunities.
OGX shares EP profiles (study background, year, preferred program, projects, work fields, duration, timeline).
Align timelines and personas clearly, discussing peak periods and availability.
Set joint goals and strategies, with monthly action steps for both sides.
Agree on routines and communication channels: frequency of IR calls, platforms, and any additional initiatives (e.g. webinars).
Confirm expectations and responsibilities for each phase of the process, and plan follow-up by deciding on routine reviews of plans and progress.

After the Call
Create a common group chat for easier ongoing coordination.
ICX sends relevant materials such as the national contact list, opportunity search tools, and promotional materials.
OGX shares the talent bank with EP profiles.
Stay updated on the opportunities your partner has and actively promote them.
Send CVs of interested candidates to the partner.
Communicate promptly whenever you have an applicant to push the process forward.
Continue regular follow-up and ensure agreed communication routines are maintained.
There are 3 platforms where you can do IR Analysis:
π EXPA (E2E Analytics): You can check an entity to entity numbers in a selected time range
π Core: You can understand what are the top performers within the global and regional plenary
π AiHu IR DataStudio:Β you can do your IR Analysis in a quicker and more visual way, considering the MC 24.25 Term (Data from July 24 - June 25).
Global Contact List
You can find all the contacts from the global plenary here. The Global Contact List includes the following tabs:
π EY Contact List β A national contact list with all the contacts (MC and LCs) from each country.
π EY Search Tools β A search tool for each country, listing their available opportunities.
π Specific Tabs β For example, MCVPs iGT.
Please note: For now, you can access the Global Contact List only via an aiesec.net email.Β
IR GroupsΒ
π Our main communication channel with our National IR Partners is through common WhatsApp groups. We have a community where all IR groups are located.Β
Each National IR Group includes all LCVPs OGX from AIESEC in Hungary and LCVPs ICX from our partner entity. These groups are great for ICX to promote their opportunities, and for us to share EPsβ CVs, ask about opportunity details, and match EPs faster.
