AIC COMICS IS COMING BACK TO KICKSTARTER & GIVING AWAY A FREE COMIC
Following the success of our first Kickstarter campaign, indie publisher AIC Comics will be returning to Kickstarter on July 4 with all new comics for backers. We'll be offering the next issues of our inaugural series, Shexie Meiren, Agent Sparx: Defender of Glittera, and Tales from the Streets of Guanghzhou. In addition, we'll have two new series to introduce to fans: White Snake - based on the ancient Chinese legend of the white snake lady - and Um Khuzi: Origins. The first episode of White Snake, drawn by Gisela A. Molina, is available for free on our online comic shop on ComixCentral.com.

Shexie Meiren: After years of brutal crackdowns on crime, Guangzhou has become one of the safest cities in China. The once powerful triads have been fractured into small gangs, fighting amongst themselves for survival. The citizens of the city praise their new governor for cleaning up the streets. But not all is as it seems. Forces are beginning to rise once again to rebuild their once-illustrious underworld empires. To stem the tide of this rebirth, the police have turned to bounty hunter Shexie Meiren. With her partner, American computer hacker Macy Makker, they take on the criminal elements of the city... and make a profit.
Agent Sparx – Defender of Glittera: On the distant utopian world of Glittera, security agent Sparx and her partner Leng Xie defend the planet from alien gangs, killer machines, and mysterious ancient beings, all in a style reminiscent of the Saturday morning cartoons of yesteryear. Join them in their debut series, "Cold Hearted" as they track down an alien terrorist bent on revenge.
Tales from the Streets of Guangzhou: On the mean streets of Guangzhou - one of China's largest cities - you can find The American, an expat who finds trouble no matter where he roams. Follow his adventures as he fights crime lords, petty thieves, or anyone who happens to interrupt his drinking time.
White Snake: After a young, down on his luck college student stands up to a group of bullies, his life gets turned upside down as he journeys to a new world full of fantasy, danger, and love. Check out the first episode for free on ComixCentral.com!
Um Khuzi - Origins: Follow the journey of Um Khuzi, from his rough childhood as a troubled boy in early 20th century Darfur to his rise to a powerful warlord. Witness the tragic life that eventually leads Khuzi to become the vigilante known as the Master of Magic.

Michael Kelley is an American expat from Portland, Oregon now living with his wife in Shenzhen China. His stories are influenced by his experiences and observations as an expat, as well as by the comics he read as a child during the late 80s and early 90s. Having dreamed of writing his own comics for years, Michael finally launched his titles under his self-publishing brand AIC Comics in April 2017.

AIC COMICS GOES LIVE ON KICKSTARTER
Independent comic creator and founder of AIC Comics, Michael Kelley announces the launch of a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for three new comic book series. The 45-day-long campaign will end of April 14. Fans of comics everywhere are invited to be a part of this incredible event.
