PHILOSOPHY OF THE ANDOVER MARCHING HUSKIES

The Andover High School Marching Band is committed to creating an environment where students grow as musicians, leaders, and individuals. Through dedication, creativity, and collaboration, our program provides meaningful, enjoyable, and rewarding experiences that extend beyond the performance field. We strive to build musical excellence while fostering responsibility, teamwork, and resilience—skills that serve students in all areas of life.

As ambassadors of Andover High School and the greater community, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of character, respect, and integrity. Our performances are more than entertainment; they are a reflection of the pride, discipline, and passion that define our band.

Participation in the Marching Band is primarily available to students enrolled in ensemble music courses at Andover High School, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis. We welcome all students who are willing to contribute their talents, energy, and commitment to a tradition of excellence and to the shared goal of representing our school with honor.
