Having been influenced by many in my family who are involved in construction such as my father, at a young age I naturally gravitated towards architecture and design. Much of my free time growing up was spent building and deconstructing lego sets; so much so they often covered much of the floor space in my room at times. Freshman year of high school granted me the opportunity to expand my love and creativity in the architecture field by introducing me to the elements of architecture as well as other software programs. Throughout the years, I have been able to express myself and ideas through many projects by gaining inspiration from the things I have seen in real life such as nature and the variety of different architecture types I see in my day to day life and coming up with my own version of it and sketching it onto paper. Then, I can sculpt a 3-D version of my creation using Sketchup, where I can edit and change any elements of my design throughout the building process. I would hope that those who see my work see the nature-driven, yet simplistic and detailed aspect of many of my builds. Through the use of white and brighter textures, glass, wood, and stone, I hope to reflect a warm and visually appealing design to whoever views my work. In the future, I plan to continue my creativity through structures that I could possibly one day build in real life.
