Broward Art Guild
Youth Art Competition
Congratulations to Victoria Tortolani Ramos, Lina Song, and Mou Petrov! These three high school artists earned recognition in Broward Art Guild's 2025 Youth Art Competition. Victoria won Best in Show and People's Choice for her painting "Mother's Love," Lina won Second Place for "Gyanhyeong (Balance)," and Mou's "Fruit Still Life" received Judge's Recognition.
The exhibit, located in the Broward County Main Library's Gallery 6, will run until November 19th.
Congressional
Art Competition
Our talented visual artists earned a total of five awards at the Congressional Art Competition for Florida’s 25th Congressional District, hosted by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This year’s competition had a record 440 entries!
Lina Song, 11th Grade - First Place “Cheong-Gaeguli”
Yechang Liu, 11th Grade - Third Place, “That Time of Year”
Lindsey Cheng, 11th Grade - Best Oil Painting, “Lifeline”
Leeya Bitton, 10th Grade - Best Photography, “Mind Behind the Mane”
Mayli Tommie, 11th Grade - Honorable Mention, “Red Dress Special”
Lina’s first place artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.
Congratulations also to the many other Heritage students whose work was displayed in the Juried Exhibition. We are so proud of you all!
