Artist Statement

My focus is on the natural world, finding inspiration in both the wider scenes and in the small details you might miss. For instance, two of the images are layered collages, while the others explore unusual angles and confined compositions. I edit and enhance the hues and lighting using Photoshop and Lightroom Classic. It is my goal to edit all my images in a compelling manner.

The changing climate influenced my choices too, especially in the image where warm and cool colors contrast. Ultimately, I want these photos to encourage a positive view of the natural world, reflecting my own feelings about it. This collection represents my ongoing exploration of photography and connection to the environment.
