Artist Statement

When faced with seemingly impossible circumstances, a common response is to search for comfort and security through connection with others, whether it be friends, family, or community. In this portfolio I explore the universal need for connection and purpose through the conception of an animated story. The tale begins as the Golden Robot escapes from the sun prison (where he was captive for millennia) only to find himself on a foreign wasteland. A chance encounter with a ferret leads to an unlikely friendship, as the two opposite characters navigate a harsh, alien environment together.
