Artist Statement

My portfolio centers on the sacrifices modern students make to achieve academic success. My inquiry is guided by the question of whether highly competitive academic environments truly benefit gifted youth. My motivation stems from personal experience. As I faced several health struggles over the past year, I found it increasingly difficult to balance rigorous academic demands with my well-being. I often felt that prioritizing one came at the expense of the other. Through a multimedia, tactile process, I aim to explore the complex emotional and physical tolls faced by modern American students.
