Artist Statement

I have always believed that beauty is all around us, constantly surrounding us everywhere we look. Sometimes, we forget that art exists in everything. It’s in the trees we walk past every day, the rivers we drink from, and the animals that inhabit the earth. In these works, I explore the four elements that form the foundation of all beauty: earth, fire, water, and air. These elements shape the canyons, forests, and oceans we see everyday. I wanted to shed light on this idea because people often take these natural wonders for granted. Sometimes, simply taking a look around can lift anyone’s spirits.
