At the end of EYFS your child will be expected to achieve their early learning goal in Number and Shape, Space and Measure.

ELG Number - Children can count reliably with numbers from one to 20, place them in order and say which number is one more or one less than given number. Using objects they can add and subtract two single digit numbers and count on or back to find the answer. They solve problems, including doubling, halving and sharing.

ELG Shape, Space and Measure - Children use every day language to talk about size, weight, capacity, position, distance, time and money to compare quantities and objects to solve problems. They recognise, create and describe patterns. They explore characteristics of everyday objects and shapes and use mathematical language to describe them.

Please find some resources below to support your child in achieving these goals. For specific targets for your child ask your child's teacher how you can help at home!
