Careers in the Curriculum

Bringing the curriculum to life through the context of the world of work, the resources on this page are a collaboration between AET and our employer partners.

Each resource contains a slide deck, teacher lesson plan and all supporting resources.

They are free for use in any school and linked to the national curriculum.

These tasks teach a core objective of a subject through the lens of the workplace. They can be used within any teaching sequence or curriculum to learn the national curriculum content without dilution AND to give pupils meaningful encounters with employers, careers, diversity and big issues in the world.

The resources are labelled by subject, year group and objective so that you can easily match them to your curriculum planning.
