This activity aimed to strengthen their clinical skills and improve the quality of primary healthcare services in the community.
As part of our community health exposure, our CHM team assisted our preceptor in conducting Yakap Profiling across selected barangays in the Municipality of RT Lim. We participated in profiling activities in Barangay Pres. Roxas, Barangay Surabay, and Barangay Casacon on different dates, helping collect essential household and health-related information.

Following our primary community assessment, our CHM team initiated blood pressure monitoring among residents of Barangay Katipunan, RT Lim, Zamboanga Sibugay. Individuals identified with elevated blood pressure are being regularly monitored to track their condition, promote treatment adherence, and facilitate timely referral and follow-up at the Rural Health Unit when necessary. This ongoing activity supports the early detection and management of hypertension within the community.

Representatives from the different puroks participated by preparing and presenting a variety of nutritious dishes made from fresh, locally available ingredients without the use of added preservatives. The competition highlighted the importance of balanced nutrition, proper food preparation, and the use of healthy cooking practices in promoting overall well-being.
The activity encouraged active community participation while increasing awareness of the value of preparing nutritious, affordable, and culturally appropriate meals for Filipino families. It also served as a venue for promoting healthy eating habits, fostering creativity in meal preparation, and strengthening the community's commitment to proper nutrition as an essential component of disease prevention and health promotion.
