Notable Details

• This was the first time in the series we had the lectures on a Wednesday.
• Our Planetary Experiment was the first lecture of the series to be focused on climate change and geophysics.
• This was the first time we domecasted lectures in two versions of Uniview.
• We streamed/domecasted to one more institutional partners than in Fall 2017.
• 33 Children at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago watched the lecture through VR headsets we sent them.
• Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, and Mayo High School saw the highest attendance ratios of any partners - 110% and 87% respectively.
• For the first time in this series we partnered with a computer arcade to host a YouTube viewing event. This is also the second partner, aside from Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, to be a non-science institution.
• For the first time during this series we employed scanners to track actual attendance. We saw 22% attrition between tickets issued, and those ticket holders showing up.
• Adler's total attendance for Spring 2018 was lower than for Fall 2017, but our YouTube attendance for one stream in Spring 2018 was comparable to our total YouTube attendance from both streams in Fall 2017.
