Days: 3‑Day Learning Plan

01/05/2026 and 01/06/2026 – Main Idea & Important Details

• Students read part of the story and learn how to find the main idea (what the chapter is mostly about).

• They also find important details that help explain the story.

These skills help students understand reading in Spanish and English.

01/07/2026 and 01/08/2026 – Inferences, Evidence & Characters

• Students learn to make inferences, which means using clues from the story to understand things that are not said directly.

• They also learn to use text evidence (words from the story) to support their answers.

Students study the characters and describe how they act and feel.

📘 01/09/2026 and 01/12/2026 – Tone, Point of View, Structure, Vocabulary & Writing

• Students learn about the tone (the feeling of the story) and the point of view (who is telling the story).

• They look at the text structure and learn new vocabulary in context.

At the end, students write a short paragraph using evidence from the story.
