Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Mitchell, and I’m so excited to be your science teacher this year. In our classroom, we explore, experiment, ask questions, and learn by doing because science is meant to be discovered, not memorized. I can’t wait to get to know each of you and help you grow as thinkers, problem‑solvers, and young scientists.
EDUCATION
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Florida International University (FIU). My engineering background helps me connect real‑world science and engineering principles to the topics we learn in class from Earth science to Biology to Physical science. I love showing students how science works in everyday life and how the skills they learn now can be used in future careers.
