The Digital Lead Teacher, Mr. Emry, met with each grade-level team at least once per month (until he became 4th grade teacher). At the beginning of the year, all teachers completed a self-assessment based on the ISTE-T standards. With guidance from the DLT each team set goals based on these self-assessments. Some grades wanted to refine practice, while our 4th grade team was entirely new to Isaac Dickson. Each month, the DLT presented timely updates (GoGuardian, Hour of Code, ClassVR headsets, etc...) and then spent time working on each team's goal.
Mr. Emry also coached two first-year teachers individually on integrating technology into their math lessons.
In March, all the DLTs turned focus towards the transition from PowerSchool to Infinite Campus. Training schedules and plans were created. Jesse worked with all the staff at Dickson the get signed up on the Campus Passport platform and registered for their initial sessions.
