AR Sandbox

Students experienced augmented reality while studying topographic maps. They used surveys and the AR sandbox to learn about contour lines and land forms. Some discussions included STEAM related careers like surveying, engineering and architecture.

Welcoming a STEAM Lead Teacher to HFE

At the beginning of February, we added a new STEAM Lead Teacher to our staff. Students and staff gave a very warm welcome!

Valentine's STEAM Centers

With the integration of guidance and computer coding, students participated in STEAM centers to celebrate the different ways we feel love.

Unit Planning with Grade Level Teams - Half day planning sessions with each grade level yielded unit plans ranging from weather, to space to, land forms, to Cherokee, that lasted throughout the third quarter.
