Welcome to the Bright IDEAS (Isaac Dickson Enrichment After School) program!
Bright IDEAS runs Monday through Friday, 2:30-6:00. Every day begins with a healthy snack, free time on the playground, and supervised homework help. At 3:30, students go to either Explorers' Club or Elective Clubs. Students may fill their weeks with a combination of the two clubs.
Explorers' Club is a program that focuses on "exploring" the world around us -- science, culture, social studies, history...--through games, arts & crafts, food, reading, outdoor play and a variety of fun, creative, hands-on, activities. Explorers are divided by grade level.
Students choose from a variety of options for clubs which are offered Monday through Friday from 3:30-4:30 for 8 weeks . Different clubs are offered everyday. Some previous clubs have included Break Dancing, Cooking, Swimming, Yearbook, Aerial Arts, Climbing, Tae Kwon Do, Chess, Arts and Crafts, and many others. If you have a club you'd like to teach, let us know! please contact Penny Lewis.
Bright IDEAS has 4 sessions a year. For current offerings and information, see "REGISTRATION".
