Volunteer

Homework/Reading Assistance

From 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm, students are given time to complete homework assignments and read books. At this time, our valued volunteers help students work through math problems or practice their reading/writing skills by providing the one-on-one attention that many children so desperately need.

Additional Program Assistance

We welcome community members (artists, musicians, performing artists, travelers, etc.) who want to share their interests, talents, and experiences with our students.

At Bright IDEAS, we value skill-building programs that prepare young people for the future. In pursuit of this value, we offer a youth volunteer program, designed for Middle and High School aged students. This program provides an opportunity for young people to gain valuable volunteer hours and develop valid childcare work experience under the mentorship of childcare professionals.
