I spend summer with my family Kristy (wife)Noah (son) and Ethan (other son). In a small cabin on a lake, doing wilderness-lake things
I like SCIENCE!!! and you should too. That'll be my job this year. Let's see what kinda trouble we can get ourselves into.
I can say travel, and reading and outdoors. But really I like coffee, and new tools and new adventures. I've not only been a teacher, but a biologist, cable-guy, cab driver, skeet-loader, snowboard instructor, varsity mascot. But I'm sure I will bore you with those stories later....if we find time between the 9 units we gotta get through 8 months.
AP Chemistry is an introductory college-level chemistry course. Students cultivate their understanding of chemistry through inquiry-based lab investigations as they explore the four Big Ideas: scale, proportion, and quantity; structure and properties of substances; transformations; and energy. (9 Units, Roughly 8 months, if we are being generous) Saddle up! Grab your coat!Get on your bike or whatever it is you do to GET READY!
There are nine units:
Atomic Structure and Properties
Molecular and Ionic Compound Structure and Properties
Intermolecular Forces and Properties
Chemical Reactions
Kinetics
Thermodynamics
Equilibrium
Acids and Bases
Applications of Thermodynamics
