In the 7th-grade science course, students further develop their science and communication skills through cooperative laboratory activities, integrated projects and problem-solving. Students will continue to build knowledge and understanding in a number of areas of study in Science including Chemistry and Physics. The units taught include chemistry topics such as the introduction to matter, elements and the Periodic Table, chemical reactions and solutions and Physics topics such as radioactivity, nuclear energy, electricity, and magnetism.
