Prerequisite: Successful completion of Greek 2 and teacher recommendation based on placement test.
Course Description:
This course builds on the foundation established in Greek 2 and is open to students who have successfully completed this class and received a teacher recommendation based on a final assessment test. It further develops the four core language skills—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—at a more advanced level while introducing more complex grammatical structures. Lessons are enriched with elements of Greek culture whenever possible, fostering a deeper connection to the language.
The course places significant emphasis on speaking, reading comprehension, and the writing process. In writing, students will refine their skills by applying strategies from the writing process, exploring various writing styles, and learning to gather and utilize information effectively. In speaking and listening, students will practice diverse communication strategies tailored to specific purposes. In reading, students will engage in text interpretation through a structured reading process.
