Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
Parents and students are required to carefully review the following Code of Conduct, so that there is no confusion regarding the Elementary School’s behavioral guidelines and expectations, as well as implications for students who disrespect school policies.
The Code of Conduct is in effect within the campus, on all school related student transportation i.e., on the school bus, and during every ACS Athens official activity off campus.
All new Elementary School parents are required to sign and submit the agreement form, which is attached at the end of this document, in order to declare that they have carefully reviewed the Code of Conduct, discussed it with their child, and that they agree to honor all Elementary School’s regulations as described in this document.
These agreement forms are our contracts with you, for the entire ACS schooling of your child. The Acts of Misconduct and Levels of Restorative Actions listed below apply to students who continue to demonstrate behavioral misconduct.
Depending on the seriousness of the misconduct, restorative actions may begin at a different level based on the administrative team’s decision.
For any dangerous acts of misconduct such as use of weapons, use of fire, destruction of property, life threatening actions etc., we reserve the right to take immediate and preventive actions based on administrative decisions for the safety of our students.
