Mark your diary: First day of school is Monday 18th August 2025!
Dear Parents,
It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to ACS Hillingdon International School’s Upper School community. As the Assistant Head overseeing Grades 5 to 12, I am committed to ensuring that your child’s experience here is not only academically enriching but also personally fulfilling. Our goal is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment where every student can discover their passions and grow into confident, thoughtful individuals.
At ACS Hillingdon, we pride ourselves on fostering a holistic approach to education. Beyond academic success, we focus on nurturing students' well-being and developing essential life skills like resilience, adaptability, and empathy—qualities that are just as vital as academic achievement in today’s world. Our close-knit community offers the perfect blend of support and challenge, helping students to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
I believe that every student brings something unique to our school, and my role is to help guide them as they navigate their personal and academic journeys. We work closely with families to ensure a seamless transition into school life and to provide ongoing support throughout the year.
Please feel free to reach out to me at any time—I am here to support you and your child in any way I can. I look forward to partnering with you in this exciting phase of their education.
Welcome to ACS Hillingdon!

Dean of Students
David Jackson
The Upper School Dean of Students is a key figure dedicated to the overall well-being and success of our students across Grades 5-12. The Dean of Students plays a vital role in creating a positive and supportive environment, ensuring that each of our students is given the platform and skills to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The Dean of Students leads our dedicated 'Heads of Year' team, working collaboratively to provide an environment that focuses on the development of all of our students. Whilst the Head of Year is the main point of contact for your child, they will liaise with the Dean of Students throughout the year.
The Head of Year (HoY) plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment for students. They will be the first person that your child meets and integral in overseeing their well-being and academic progress. Our aim is to ensure your child is given a sense of belonging as they are guided through the challenges and triumphs of their academic journey. Creating a sense of community is paramount.
The Head of Year organizes events, activities, and initiatives that promote camaraderie among students. This includes team-building exercises, peer mentoring programs, and social events that contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture. We look forward to welcoming your child - please reach out to the relevant HoY if you have any immediate questions or concerns as your child joins ACS Hillingdon.

Ms. Prowse monitors daily attendance, tracks student absences, and collaborates with parents to address any attendance-related concerns. To enable Ann to maintain accurate records, we ask parents to:
Complete the Absence Request Form to request their child miss school for a reason other than illness. Where possible, this form must be completed at least 14 days in advance of the absence.
Parents are requested to inform the school of a daily absence. This ensures that our records are up-to-date and helps us to promptly address any concerns regarding a student's well-being.
While the Heads of Year are your primary contact during the school year, please feel free to reach out to our Upper School Secretary for any non-term time inquiries or general assistance.
