Mark your diary: First day of school is Monday 18th August 2025!
At ACS Hillingdon, our community is located in various places across West London.
We have a number of options available which you can select from and depending on your child's age.
All stops, times and duration stated are subject to change without prior notice and each school year.
The school will do its outmost to inform parents of any delays or changes but those are reflective of daily potential traffic, roadworks disruptions or any change in circulation.
Our school operates an extensive busing service for families, to transport children safely and efficiently between home and school.
We currently have a total of 8 designated routes with a total of 18 selected areas which offer shuttle service to our community:
2025/26 Shuttle service routes
Morning buses would usually arrive around 8.15 a.m and the afternoon buses depart about 10 minutes after dismissal.
Bus requests made after 11th August may not be processed in time for the start of the school year. Please provide details of bussing requests to the Transport Department as soon as possible. For in-year starts, every effort will be made to ensure we able to accommodate you to our existing network, but we cannot guarantee places will be available.
All families living within the Zone 1–3 shaded areas on the map can apply to use our Door to-Door busing service. This service becomes available with a minimum of 6 other students within the same area. The bus then would stop at all signed up houses prior to making its way to school. As a consequence, a door to door service may take longer than a shuttle service.
If an existing Door-to-Door service already come to your area but is full, you will then require to take the shuttle service option until an availability comes up.
For door to door buses would still aim to arrive around 8.15 a.m and depart about 10 minutes after dismissal.
We operates late buses under the following conditions:
5.00 p.m from Mondays to Thursdays only for students attending ACS after-school activities.
6.00 pm on Mondays and 5.00 p.m on Fridays only for Grade 7 to Grade 12 students attending ACS Sports activities
The areas covered are limited to our most populated areas.
Please understand that Pre-K and Kindergarten students are not allowed to use this service, even if they do have siblings.
Parents are very welcome to drive their children to school. We operate a rolling drop off system in the mornings and a rolling pick up in the afternoons. As we are currently expanding our sport facilities, new safety measures are in place and we would require parents driving to allow our buses to leave first at pick up time.
For families who would like to walk their children into the Lower School, parking is available.
Grade 12 Students are also allowed to drive to school, as long as they have passed their driving test, abide by all legal requirements for new drivers and have submitted all paperwork, including a driving to school request form, to the High School office. Please note: the privilege of driving to school is at the discretion of the school and the school has the right to withdraw the permission to drive to school.
A kind reminder that our regular school days hours are 8.30 a.m to 3.25 p.m except Wednesdays finishing at 2.45 p.m.
All cars must have a valid school car sticker (see below instructions to get one) to allow our security team to identity you as you enter the campus and avoid any delay at our entrance point. The sticker must be placed in the top right side of your car windscreen.
Families who live in the immediate vicinity to the school are welcome to walk, cycle or push scooter to school. There is an extensive pavement network at Hillingdon, which can allow families to safely travel to school.
Our current bus fees are available on our school website: click here to review.
To arrange your child(ren) busing, please make sure to contact our Transport department who will confirm by email all relevant information for you to be aware of ahead of the first day of school. (bus number, timings, etc.)
The invoice will be received within two weeks after your booking has been confirmed and payment is due upon receipt. (per semester)
To get a car sticker you must first complete the Family Campus Car Pass form.
This form can be found when logging in to your PowerSchool account under the section "Forms".
The car sticker will be collected from the security hut at the school entrance within the first week of school.
For families who do not have a permanent address yet, you would still be required to complete your car details and the car sticker will be then available for collection at our Transport office.
