GoCPS will issue offers in spring 2021. The release date is TBD.
Choice schools will select students that match the following criteria:
Ranking - matches up with how you rank
Available seats offered (i.e. only 300 seats for 1,000 applicants?)
Admission Process & Requirements
Selective Enrollment (Exam, NWEA, Grades)
Attended required information session?
Audition, interview, etc.
Priority
Does a sibling already attend that school?
Reminder: Apply to schools or programs that you are willing to attend if you are offered a seat.
Students will receive 1 match for Selective Enrollment AND 1 for Choice Schools
If students do not receive their top choice, they will automatically be added to the waitlist for those schools. They will be given a waitlist number.
They will need to accept or deny their match.
Accepting does not affect waitlists.
Students only have a week to accept.
Each Selective Enrollment School has its own cut scores which determine eligibility. This is based on a 900 point scale:
300 points for grades
300 points for NWEA percentage
300 points for Selective Enrollment Exam.
We can help students calculate their standing given last year’s grades and NWEA scores.
