You will need to use your account on the GoCPS portal in order to apply to all public schools in Chicago
Students can rank up to 20 Choice schools (including specific programs)
Students eligible for Selective Enrollment will rank schools in one section.
You rank all schools for which they are eligible in Selective Enrollment AND Choice Programs.

Select or click the circle for each school or program you want to apply for.
Rank you selection in order for 1-20 (If students do not select 20, they will just rank what they did select.)
1 is your top choice
20 is your last choice.
Only select and rank schools that you are willing to attend if you are offered a seat.
Once you selecting and ranking Choice programs, you will complete the same process for those interested in Selective Enrollment schools.

A parent will need to virtually sign in order to submit the application.
Also applying to a school that your sibling is attending? Be sure to include that information when you submit!
If you want to change your ranking or add more schools, you can “Create a New application” and submit your application again.
