In class, we make a derivative sauce.
Chicken in a brown gravy with rice
one chopped onion
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
3 cups chicken stock
Roasted chicken
Rice
season to taste
Chop onion and sauté it with the butter until golden or clear.
Add flour and stir until golden.
Add stock and Chicken. Simmer
Serve over rice.
