Art Award

Our choice for the senior art award is Kameran Warren.

If you know Kameran, you realize what a kind, empathetic and positive person she is. In class, Kameran is the student who guides conversation and includes everyone in the discussion. She is so inclusive in how she treats everyone that she developed a school-wide t-shirt design contest. Although the contest was interrupted by the school closure, Kameran developed and implemented the plan and collected the designs, becoming a novice entrepreneur! In her artwork, Kameran is creative and innovative. She thinks deeply about how work is created and why, and she reflects emotion and meaning in her work.

We are so proud of the progress Kameran has made and the citizen she is. Congratulations, Kameran!
