High School Registration Activities & Timeline 2024

 ABSS High School Registration Manual 2024-2025   (all 8th graders received a hard copy of this manual on February 2, 2024 during 4th block)

O   Attend the Curriculum Fair for Students and Parents being hosted on Monday, February 5th at Western High School from 4:30-6:30pm.  This is when you will have the opportunity to ask specific questions to the high school teachers and counselors. 

O   Attend Social Studies class on Monday, February 12th, 2024, when Mrs. Cotton,  Mrs. Oney, and Mrs. Bryant, the high school counselors, come to speak about high school and prepare you for course selection.  Review their High School 101 PowerPoint for current 8th Graders. 

O   Take some time to peruse these useful resources about the many different program opportunities offered by ABSS in High School. 

O   During February and March, students will be meeting with their middle school counselors individually to review and finalize their course selections.
