Welcome Back!
The library is a community learning space and must serve multiple purposes. In accordance with the ABRHS General Behavioral Expectations in the Student Handbook, all students are expected to conduct themselves with consideration and thoughtfulness for the rights of others and will be treated with dignity and respect by library staff. Students who consistently demonstrate disregard for the library community may have their library privileges revoked for a period of time.
All students are required to sign-in at the front desk when they arrive.
The library is the only space students can access during their free time that is designed for study. Those who need to access the resources and study or do school work will be given priority over those playing games/scrolling on their phones.
Cell phone use is allowed so long as it does not disturb anyone else. Examples of disruptive use include (but are not limited to): playing music/videos/etc. aloud, phone/video calls, and gaming.
Food is not allowed inside the library to keep it clean and pest-free. Covered drinks that shut tight (i.e. will not spill easily) are permissible.
Please use library materials with care and return them on time so that others can use them as well.
Finally, please do not leave belongings unattended in the library. Unattended personal items may be removed and held at the front desk in order to make space for others to use the tables.
