Able SC is committed to the inclusion of students with disabilities in all aspects of the educational process. As part of this commitment, training and technical assistance are available to educators and administrators in order to promote understanding, inclusion, and accessibility in South Carolina schools’ curriculum, transition programming, community activities, inter-agency collaboration, and planning.
All training and technical assistance offer an individualized approach based on the school's specific needs, barriers, and prior experience. Training and technical assistance can be provided individually and/or in group settings to educators, service providers, and/or families in order to aid in the growth and development of skills and practices for supporting people with disabilities. The disability community thrives when independence, inclusion, and accessibility are at the core of the services and support they receive. To further facilitate understanding, several supplemental tools and resources are available to complement our technical assistance services. All of our services are available in virtual formats.
