Able South Carolina provides WIOA mandated Pre-Employment Transition Services to students in the Midlands, Pee Dee Region, and the Upstate through their partnership with the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department and the South Carolina Commission for the Blind.

Lessons are effective for all students with all types of disabilities. 

Each lesson is a fun activity and engaging discussion taught by a trained Youth Transition Specialist.

All classes are offered as six weekly 45-minute sessions, but other options are available

In person, classes follow these COVID precautionary measures.

Virtual classes are hosted live through any school's preferred online platform.

Able SC provides in-person services and virtual classes, adjusted to work with your school's schedule.

Other Services

Training and technical assistance can be provided individually and/or in group settings to educators, service providers, and/or families in order to aid in the growth and development of skills and practices for supporting people with disabilities. 

Able SC also offers individualized goal planning and skill building through mentorship with trained Youth Independent Living Specialists.

These specialists will meet with youth one on one to help understand school assignments, build socialization skills, and accomplish independent living goals.
