There are six mandatory training modules to be completed by education staff - each module is detailed below. The modules can be accessed through LEON (Argyll and Bute's Online Training Hub). Equality and Diversity
This mandatory course will provide you with an understanding of the council's Equality and Diversity policy, the law in relation to equality and ensure you are aware of your responsibilities under both the policy and the law.
Fire Safety Awareness
This mandatory course provides an overview of Fire Safety Awareness. It covers how fires start and spread, types of fires and causes, UK legislation, how to spot hazards and prevent fires, and what to do in the event of a fire.
Freedom of Information
This course is mandatory for all Council employees. The purpose of this course is to provide all employees at all levels with an introductory knowledge of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Positive Customer Service
This mandatory course ensures all employees are aware of how to deliver positive customer service.
Data Protection
This mandatory course will provide employees with an overview of the Data Protection Act 2018 and with an understanding of the Council’s responsibilities when processing personal data.
GDPR Annual Refresher
This mandatory course provides employees with an annual refresher to ensure you are aware of your responsibilities as outlined by the legislation.
