Enrolment
School applications are made via Aberdeen City Council. Please click here for the forms to apply for a school place. When your child's school place has been confirmed, you will receive an email from the School Office containing further information and your child's start date.

Uniform
Children wear jade green polo shirts, a school sweatshirt and navy trousers or shorts. Summer dresses may also be worn. School uniform items can be purchased from theParent Council uniform page.
Outdoor shoes: Children should come to school in outdoor shoes each day. These should be waterproof and suitable for all weathers.
Indoor shoes: Children will need a pair of indoor shoes to change into every day. These will be left in school.
The School Day
The school day begins at 9.00am for all pupils.
All classes have a 15 minute break at 10.30am.
All classes have a 1 hour lunch break at 12.00.
The school day ends at 3.15pm for all pupils.
*Please note, Nursery timings do not follow this pattern.
Lunches
Currently, all children in Primary 1 to Primary 5 are entitled to free school meals. Click here to find out about school meals, including payment information, and view the menu. Children order their school lunch each morning when they arrive at school.
Children also have the option of bringing a packed lunch if they would prefer.
Snacks and Drinks
At break time, we recommend that children have a small, healthy snack. Some examples are shown here. A water bottle should also be brought to school daily, which children have access to throughout the day. Please do not send juice or any food containing nuts.
What to bring to school
A school bag containing:
A water bottle.
A small, healthy snack.
A packed lunch, if your child will not be having a school lunch.
A coat with a hood.
A pair of indoor shoes that can be left in school.
Drop off and pick-up locations
Children in P2-P7 should be dropped of via the pedestrian gate on St. Swithin Street. They will gather in the senior playground and be collected by teachers at 9am.
Primary 1 children should be brought to the gate at the far right end of the school car park at the front of the school building. Parents should wait with their children until they are collected by an adult at 9am.
At 3.15pm, children can be collected from the same locations as above. Parents of P2-7 children are invited into the playground at the end of the day to collect their child/children.
This map indicates local parking facilities which you can use at the beginning and end of the school day. The school car park is not available for parents transporting children to and from school.

Before and After School Club
Before and after school clubs are run by CliCC.The St Joseph’s club is run in our school building.Contact telephone number, Alison: 07526 167049. There is also a facebook page for Community Link Childcare.
