We had 7 pupils graduate yesterday from Career Ready 2022/24

Hafsa provided the following feedback,

"When I signed up for the Career Ready programme, I knew my interests but was unsure of what I wanted to do in the future - there were so many different degrees I could study and career routes I could go down, it all felt very overwhelming. The programme provided me with the opportunity to explore my interests and linked me with a mentor to guide me when making my decisions which was exactly what I needed during my last years of school."

"The highlight of the programme is definitely the 4-week internship which I planned out with my mentor so I would be able to get what I wanted out of the experience. I was able to get a real understanding of my mentor's role and also other careers I was considering to figure out which I would be most suited to and enjoy myself in. I also attended various skills masterclasses with other interns which were beneficial and also really fun. By the end, I had a better idea of what I wanted out of a career and felt much more confident in the workplace."

"I also feel lucky to have a committed mentor who I’ve gotten to know and connect with really well over the 2 years. The guidance and support she has given me with my future decisions and difficult periods throughout has been a big comfort and I am grateful for it. I encourage everyone to sign up for Career Ready as a mentor and a mentee as it's a wonderful opportunity to develop a meaningful relationship and discover new things- I myself hope to become a mentor one day!"
