1. World Religion - Judaism
You will learn about Jewish beliefs and practices, why they are important and how they impact Jewish people in their daily lives, whilst developing knowledge & understanding, analysis and evaluation skills.
2. Morality and Belief – Morality and Relationships
You will learn about contemporary moral issues relating to relationships, gender roles, equality and exploitation. You will also explain religious and non-religious responses to said moral issues, and develop analysis and evaluation skills.
3. Religious and Philosophical Questions – The Problem of Evil and Suffering
You will learn about the philosophical question ‘does the existence of evil and suffering mean a good God cannot exist?’, and will explain views relating to and answers to the question, compare similarities and differences whilst analysing and evaluating.
1. Course examination (75%)
2. Controlled 1 hour assignment (25%)
In the assignment, learners choose a research topic, research, organise and gather evidence before presenting their conclusions.
