Below is a selection of the fantastic clay models created by S3's, inspired by the seaside. They came up with their own interpretation of the theme and used various techniques to produce their models.

Seaside Project

Some of our S3 pupils have been working through a seaside themed expressive project. So far, we have worked with various media and produced studies of different seaside related objects. You can see a couple of examples below!

Yayoi Kusama

S3 have completed their mixed media pieces inspired by the colourful Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. 

Pupils used 2 different printing methods for the background, copied Kusama's dots for the flowers and created pots and foregrounds with bold mark making techniques.
